I started The Things I Love Project in January 2012 in an effort to really focus on what I love doing in life. I wanted to spend more time on the things I love, and less time dwelling on the negative things in life. Bad things can happen; life can be tiring and stressful, but if I focus on what’s good, I realize how sweet and wonderful my life can be. I try to update daily with my adventures knitting, spinning, crafting, cooking, baking, acting, singing, playing music, and being a huge geek. I love comic books, science fiction, science fact, fantasy, podcasts, literature, and excellent television (okay, and secretly (sometimes) bad television).

It takes a conscious effort to feed our souls. It is so easy for all of us to spend so much time on the things that we have to do, the chores and day jobs and day-to-day life that doesn’t feed our souls. I want The Things I Love Project to be a place that inspires and helps you to feed your soul, embrace your weirdness, and make time for you to do what you love.

You can find me on Twitter, Ravelry, Instagram and Pinterest as DreamsDelirious. You can also email me. My friend Laura and I also have a podcast, the KnottyGirls Knitcast, where we discuss knit and geek culture. Get in touch! I want to hear from you!
